These terms and conditions (also named T&Cs) apply to all websites and all communications on the phone, by email or fax from Wine Insiders Sàrl (herein indicated as 'Wine Insiders', unless stated. These T&Cs are available on the company’s website () 24h/7 and 365 days per year. Consequently, each order implies complete acceptance without any restrictions to these T&Cs from the buyer.
Wine Insiders reserves the right to modify these T&Cs without notice. They remain valid until confirmation of the order.
The buyer ensures the accuracy of the conformity of the information provided and assume full responsibility for the consequences to the transmission of erroneous or partially inaccurate data.
The words «Merchandise», «product» and «services» in these T&Cs refers to all goods and services sold by Wine Insiders like wine, spirits, glasses, accessories, wine tasting courses but are not limited to these examples.
1) Wine Insiders Sàrl
is owned by Wine Insiders Sàrl located at 27B Avenue de Miremont, 1206 Geneva. CHE-498.960.842.
2) Retail/Selling price
All of our retail prices are in Swiss francs by unit, and are all inclusive of VAT (7.7% VAT) unless stated otherwise, they exclude shipping costs and are valid only for Switzerland. These prices might change anytime and without notice. Prices related to corporate wine events are communicated on request with an estimate excluding VAT (VAT 7.7%) unless otherwise stated.
Prices excludes shipping costs. Prices are valid only for Switzerland.
3) Available stock
All products indicated on the website or in any other communication such as email, telephone or fax or leaflets are available until stocks last, and do not constitute any commitment or offer from Wine Insiders to provide a product in indefinite quantities.
4) Purchase orders
Any order may be made in person, by phone or by email: orders made verbally will be confirmed with an invoice. Any discrepancies must be communicated to Wine Insiders within 7 days.
The payment is made by bank transfer in Swiss Francs to the bank account of the company at the following coordinates:

No products will be booked until they are paid for beforehand and for the whole amount. Wine Insiders will put aside some but not all available merchandise for clients for no more that 3 working days from time to time at Wine Insiders discretion. Afterward, Wine Insiders has the right to cancel the order. No reminder nor 'Notice to Pay' shall occur.
Changes to the orders after payment will not be accepted.
With regards to corporate events, no booking will be accepted until the estimate is accepted and returned signed and dated by the client, and payment for the deposit fully paid.
6) Collection and delivery
The buyer must arrange collection of any ordered goods within 30 days following receipt of invoice. After this time the wines will be stored at the buyer’s expense. The buyer can request Wine Insiders to organise delivery within Switzerland at the buyer's own expense. Confirmation of delivery shall occur in writing. Wine Insiders may use a third party for shipment. In this case, the goods will be delivered at the buyer’s own risk.
7) Returned merchandise for exchange
All returned merchandise needs to be in good selling order and with the receipt ticket of the transaction otherwise it can not be accepted for exchange. Wine Insiders will exchange the returned merchandise with another of same retail value, or will issue a credit certificate. There will be no reimbursement of returned merchandise. Delivery costs and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
8) Corked bottles
There will be no reimbursement of a corked bottle, but only exchange if the bottle qualifies for an exchange or replacement. Corked bottles will be exchanged or replaced with another product with same retail value under the following conditions:
- The bottle needs to be at 2/3 of its full volume with the original cork and the receipt ticket.
- Exchange will be accepted after one year maximum of the original purchase date
- Wine Insiders reserves the right to challenge the corked taste of a returned bottle.
9) Minimum age
Wine Insiders complies with the Swiss legal age to buy and consume alcohol. The buyer needs to be at least 16 to buy or consume wine, and at least 18 to buy or consume spirits. If Wine Insiders discovers that the buyer is not legally entitled to purchase alcohol, it shall be entitled to cancel the order immediately and without notice.
Wine Insiders is not liable for any defect of the goods, except for the right to replace according to article 8 of the present Terms and Conditions. Wine Insiders’s liability for any other failure to perform its obligations is limited to damages caused by gross negligence or intention.
11) Applicable law and jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by Swiss law. The legal forum is Geneva (GE).
